Announcing its audited results, SPEL reported revenues of Rs 764.82 million (Rs. 550.92M last year – 38.8% growth compared to last year) with PAT of Rs. 73.10 million (Rs. 39.12 Million last year - 87% growth compared to last year). All investments made this year have been fully utilised thereby reflecting the increased financials.

SPEL recorded its highest ever revenue growth during this period resulting in the highest PAT growth. The sustained performance will drive SPEL to further excel due to the strong demand experienced by its existing Customers, thereby making the outlook bright. SPEL increased its capacity to 425 Million, with the installation having completed in Oct 2007. This enhanced capacity will be available for the full year 2008-09 as compared to only in part, during 2007-08. SPEL is also in the process of raising funds to continue with its capacity expansion.
