SPEL Announces Excellent Q3 Results |

SPEL Semiconductor
Limited, India’s first & only Semiconductor IC Assembly & Test Company
is surging ahead on its growth path. Announcing its unaudited results,
SPEL reported sales of Rs.139.24 million (23% growth compared to same
quarter last year) with PAT of Rs.11.52 million (65% growth compared to
same quarter last year). This has helped the homegrown chip Company
further sustain its growth while focusing on expansion. |

The recently introduced state–of-the-art
LMP package has considerably increased SPEL’s attractiveness globally.
With its current capacity completely sold-out, SPEL is now further
expanding in this package, while also to introducing 2 new package in
the same family. |

With the now increasing Government
support for semiconductor manufacturing in India, SPEL is currently on a
$286 million growth plan spread over the next 5 years. SPEL’s current
capacity is over 252 Million per annum. Apart from this, SPEL will also
be packaging & testing “Camera modules” for mobile phones. |
