Announcing its unaudited results, SPEL reported sales of Rs.183.78 million (31% growth compared to same quarter last year) with PAT of Rs.16.84 million (68 % growth compared to same quarter last year). This has helped India's First & only IC Assembly & Test Company further its performance. Compared to the previous quarter (ending June 30, 2007) SPEL has improved its sales by over 23% and PAT by 178%.

SPEL ICs are used globally in consumer electronic applications (such as Cell Phones, PDAs & Digital Cameras), Desktop PCs, Notebook Computers & Automobiles. The newly installed packages have considerably increased SPEL's attractiveness globally. The sustained performance will drive SPEL to excel due to the strong demand experienced by its existing Customers. Hence the outlook is bright.
