Announcing its unaudited results for Q1 FY 2008-09, SPEL reported sales of Rs.218.30 million (46% growth compared to same period last year) with profit after tax at Rs.20.48 million (238% growth compared to the same period last year).

SPEL is confident of further consolidating its position, as the full revenue stream of the investments made during FY 07-08, is expected to be visible during the current FY 08-09. SPEL is also planning further investments during the current year for its capacity expansion to meet existing & new Customer requirements.
