CHENNAI: Spel Semiconductor, an
integrated circuits (IC) assembly and test company, has posted a net
profit of Rs 1.68 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2007, up 68%
from Rs 1 crore during the same period last year. The Chennai-based
company’s net sales went up 31% to Rs 18.37 crore (Rs 14.03 crore).
Spel’s ICs are used in consumer electronic applications (such as cell
phones and digital cameras), computers and automobiles, the company
said. |
