The Southern Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized a lecture on Management Principles on Motivating People in the Maraimali Nagar, near Chennai.

The Lecture was given by Mr. Gerry Raubach, Founder & President – Industrial Solutions Inc., Tulsa, OK, USA. He has over 30 years of experience in transforming Business using the principle of Lean Enterprise.

In his talk on Management Principles on Motivating People, Mr. Gerry emphasized on the need for collaboration within organizations. He said that worldwide successful companies are adopting to encourage collaborations within their employees to help them achieve more.

He also explained the need to focus on the process rather then on the people while dealing with issues. This he said will enable to address the problem in a positive manner while encouraging the employee to continuously improve. The lecture on dealt on how managers & leaders can help facilitate the required change by recognizing the strengths of the employees and leading by example.

The lecture concluded with a Q & A with question on types of assessment, creating win-win situations in supply chain and involving employees in change management. The program was hosted by SPEL Semiconductor and was attended by over 30 people from various companies from the CMDA Industrial Estate in Maraimalai Nagar.
