Semiconductor has accepted the invitation to join the Joint Task Force
on “Shaping the Global Innovation Economy – Enhancing Co-operation in
India – US Relation”. |

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry
(FICCI) has joined hands with the Pacific Council of the United States
in establishing this Task Force. 10 to12 business leaders on both sides
have been drawn from various high technology sectors. The Task Force
will look at the issues which will shape the global innovation economy &
identify the co-operation between India & the US. |

The Task Force will
produce a Report which would be simultaneously released in India & US by
September 2007. |
